Our 2025 harvest concluded on September 28th.
The weather forecast convinced me to harvest overnight, and so on September 28th, I completed the 2025 harvest at the Prapò vineyard in Serralunga d'Alba, harvesting firm, rich, and healthy bunches of Nebbiolo that will become a single-vineyard Barolo. The rainy spring provided invaluable water reserves for the summer, which was once again very hot at times. The drop in temperatures in recent weeks has accelerated the vine's growth rate and the ripening of the grapes, which seemed on hold due to the high summer temperatures. As often happens in September, Nature restores balance between the rows.
From the Prapò grapes, we will produce the 2025 Barolo Prapò, which will be officially released in 2029.
In the meantime, we look forward to seeing you on the Terrace or under the shelter of the Pergola to taste the currently available vintages from 2016 to 2021 of my labels and those of other Serralunga producers.
