2026: a summer harvest
I have already told you about the record-breaking early start of this harvest, where we picked the first bunches of Moscato Bianco on August 12th—slightly ahead of full ripeness to create a sparkling wine. On August 22nd, however, we harvested perfectly ripe and healthy grapes to produce the Moscato d'Asti Echinopsis Mirabilis and the dry Moscato Ius Soli, as well as the base for the Vermouth Bianco di Torino.

We harvested the Nebbiolo grapes, perfectly ripe, healthy, balanced, and with a uniform level of maturation, in mid-September.
This means we harvested entirely in the Summer, as by September 23rd—the day of the autumn equinox—everything was already in the cellar. The prolonged and constant heat that characterized this vintage resulted in this exceptional, one-of-a-kind scenario. The vines demonstrated an extraordinary capacity to adapt.
