IT’S SO MUCH MORE: IT’S SERRALUNGA-CASA MIA
Where wines are aged
We let the Barolo rest in oak barrels, in an intimate environment, embraced by three brick and stone walls, part of the original house. It is now protected by a glass wall, which allows the eyes of its admirers to still make a connection to it, underlining the character of sociability that wine has always had. Naturally, this does not exclude a taste from the barrel to appreciate the evolution of Barolo during maturation.
Stage effect
Equipped for tastings, guided by professionals, our tasting room creates a stage effect, capable of enhancing the properties of that moments protagonists: the neutral colour of the room, the light pointed in strategic positions and the individual tasting stations will convey the character unique to each product presented.
Serralunga’s treasure
Like treasure, the bottles are kept in a vaulted room, at controlled temperature and lighting- divided by menzione, in accordance with the philosophy of enhancing Barolo di Serralunga d'Alba and its crus. The labels arranged in this way constitute an easily accessible map, capable of inspiring new tasting itineraries. Try them in the vault itself, surrounded by hundreds of bottles of Barolo.
Relax with a 360° view
The Alps, the opposite borders of the Barolo area, the amphitheatres of vineyards and the rolling hills: from our terrace you don't just taste wine: you savour a sip of Italy that can only here be found both in the glass and with its panorama.
Walking towards the vineyards
A little dishevelled but well cared for, small but a bearer of great wealth: gardening is not easy, maintaining one; even less so. Patience is required; daily and diversified attention to the plants and a bit of luck are needed. Small sacrifices are well rewarded by the harvest, which will be full of vital energy to draw on for our straightforward preparations.
