MGA DATA SHEET

Surface: 39.93 ha
Altitude: approx.  250 - 395 m
Soil structure: fossil formations typical of Lequio / Marne of Sant’Agata

One of the most famous hills in the whole area (and beyond); here we find the Cerretta MGA that can be split into 3 areas:

1. Cerretta Piani - cooler area with minor slopes.

2. Bricco Cerretta – located at the top of the hill, with its vineyards facing Baudana.

3. Cerretta - facing Cascina Sordo; it is the one with the best exposure (bordering Prapò).

The exposure of the vines varies from South/Southwest to South/Southeast and gives us wines with a vigorous and firm fruit that over time tends towards more ethereal and feminine notes.

A Barolo of class and substance; it works horizontally on the palate and has softer and more integrated tannins, if compared to the nearby Prapò.
